Award-winning superstar Emeli Sandé has today announced that she will be playing her biggest shows to date this November.

After the sell-out success of her second UK headline tour earlier this year, this outing will see Emeli performing in 4 cities across the UK with a show at London’s prestigious Royal Albert Hall.

Proceeds from shows in both Glasgow and London will be donated to Nordoff Robbins Music Therapy in Scotland and the Prince’s Trust charities respectively.

Emeli says: "I was extremely happy to accept the kind invitation to become an Ambassador for the Princes Trust, having witnessed the wonderful work that they do first hand and having met some of those lucky enough to benefit from the support which they offer.

"As a former medical student, it's wonderful to see the therapeutic qualities and comfort that music brings, and that is seen nowhere better than in the wonderful work undertaken by the Nordoff-Robins charity in Scotland who will be the beneficiaries from my Glasgow show.

"I'm looking forward to contributing in some small way to highlighting the work that these two organisations do".

Tickets will go on general sale at 9am on 15 June and will be available from: http://smarturl.it/EmeliTickets

The day before the Royal Albert Hall Show on November 10th, Emeli will hold a songwriting workshop with young people. She will also hold her own exclusive press conference for budding young journalists.

It’s all to support the Royal Albert Hall’s ongoing Education work in music provision as well as to champion youth music in the UK.

In the last 12 months, life has changed beyond all recognition for the former medical student from Aberdeen. Since last summer Emeli has scored two number 2 singles with ‘Heaven’ and ‘Next To Me’  and her hugely acclaimed number 1 debut album, ‘Our Version of Events’  is the biggest selling debut album of the year with over half a million sales.

The album is also the second biggest selling album of the year behind Adele and has topped the charts three times since its release in February.

Emeli releases her next single, the heartfelt, ‘My Kind Of Love’ this week and plays a number of the festivals over the summer.
