Soul singer Duffy remained the UK's number one single for a fourth week in a row with Mercy, keeping Leona Lewis's Sport Relief single, Better In Time at number two. Duffy completed a double as her album Rockferry held the number one spot for a second week.. US rockers OneRepublic grabbed the number two spot with their new entry, Dreaming Out Loud, Nickelback stay third with All The Right Reasons, and Leona Lewis's Spirit climbing twelve places to number four, Amy Winehouse dropped to five.Nickelback's Rockstar single stayed in the top five for an incredible 18 weeks, H Two O featuring Platnum dropped from two to three, while OneRepublic held firm at four with Stop and Stare. New entries in the Top 40 singles chart came from Panic At The Disco, Hard-Fi, Foals and rockers Elbow, with the Sugababes having the highest climber, with Denial jumping 19 places from 34 to 15. Leona Lewis's Footprints In The Sand appeared in the chart twice - once as the double A-side to her Sport Relief single, and again as a standalone track at number 25 while Bleeding Love, re-entered the chart at 40. Ones to watch - Classic Soul Hits, by Motown legends The Temptations, was the second highest new entry at number eight, Oracular Spectacular by MGMT at 12, and Superabundance by New Knives at 28.
