Mustaine Refuses To Scrap Killer's Favourite Track.... Rocker Dave Mustaine is refusing to scrap a re-recording of a Megadeth song he wrote in 1994, despite a killer recently naming it as one of his all-time favourite tracks.Kimveer Gill chose A Tout Le Monde as a personal favourite tune in an online posting shortly before he embarked on a shooting spree at Dawson College in Montreal, Canada last September (06), which left one person dead and 19 injured.Mustaine has now taped a new version of A Tout Le Monde with Lacuna Coil singer Cristina Scabbia, angering some connected to the shooting tragedy, including wounded victim Hayder Kadhim.Kadhim recently said, "This artist should put this song aside out of respect to the victims."But Mustaine counters, "The song doesn't belong to the killer. It was never meant to be misinterpreted like that."Scabbia adds, "It just happened that this crazy guy liked the song, but that doesn't mean anything. There was a lot of wonderful people who love this song too, and they've never hurt anybody."
