Dane Bowers has been arrested by cops investigating the sale of illegal party drug mephedrone.
The former Another Level star was taken into custody and quizzed by officers on Tuesday (16Nov10) as part of a probe into a drugs bust worth $975,000 (£650,000).
According to Britain's The Sun, police in Manchester, England have been involved in a five-month operation to bring down a group of dealers selling the drug at U.K. cage-fighting events, which Bowers allegedly promotes.
He was bailed until January (11).
Five other men and a woman have also been arrested.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police states officers have arrested "seven people on suspicion of conspiring to supply drugs."
