Charles Hamilton has been released from a mental institution in New York after completing a week of treatment.
The rising hip-hop star voluntarily checked into a medical facility late last month (Jul10) to deal with the stress of working in the music industry.
Hamilton claimed he voluntarily reached out for help for "peace of mind" after his passion for rhyming began to consume him.
He told Bossip.com, "All I wanted to do and still want to do is make music.
"It got to the point where I started talking in rhymes all the time, even in just regular conversations.
"And music just became me, so I thought it'd be a good idea if I checked into the hospital just to get my mind right."
But Hamilton is now back at his Big Apple home - he was discharged last week (ends06Aug10) after undergoing treatment in a hospital's psychiatric unit, reports Vibe.com.
