Carrie Underwood will have a very special reason to celebrate as she co-hosts the Country Music Awards in Nashville, Tennessee on Wednesday night - she's scored a second number one on the U.S. album charts.
The singer's Play On debuts at number one on the Billboard 200 chart, with 318,000 copies. It's her second successive number one debut - Carnival Ride bowed at the top in 2007.
Underwood's new release topples the soundtrack from Michael Jackson's This Is It, which falls to two.
Opera singer Andrea Bocelli's first holiday album, My Christmas, debuts at three, while the soundtrack to hit U.S. TV show Glee enters the new countdown at four and the Now 32 hits compilation rounds out the new top five.
