The legendary Bryan Ferry returns with his brand new studio album ‘Olympia’ on Virgin Records on October 25.
The single ‘You Can Dance’, already a club hit across Europe, will be released on August 9, accompanied by a stunning music video shot at Wilton’s Music Hall.
‘Olympia’ follows up Bryan Ferry’s last studio album ‘Dylanesque’ which hit the UK top 5 on its release in 2007.
The album features eight new songs, and Ferry’s moving adaptation of Tim Buckley’s ‘Song To the Siren’, and also an amazing version of Traffic’s ‘No Face, No Name, No Number’.
The new songs include collaborations with Scissor Sisters (‘Heartache By Numbers’) and Groove Armada (‘Shameless’).
It is the first album to reunite Bryan Ferry with Phil Manzanera, Andy Mackay and Brian Eno since Roxy Music’s seminal album “For Your Pleasure” in 1973. It also features contributions from Pink Floyd’s David Gilmour, Jonny Greenwood of Radiohead, Nile Rogers from Chic, ex Stone Roses bassist Mani, and Flea from the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
