Britney Spears and her family have donated an signed painting of the singer to a charity auction.The large oil painting of the Toxic hitmaker was given to the Los Angeles-based Promises Foundation, which helps provide behavioural health services to women on low incomes and their children.The picture - by California-based artist Daniel Maltman - is to be sold on internet auction website eBay with a starting price of $10,000 (£5,405), and comes with a letter of authenticity from Spears' mother Lynne.Lisa Rogg, the charity's director, said; "The Spears family gave us this painting out of their generosity. It was their idea for the auction."
