Unprepared Spears Late For Kids....

Britney Spears' custody battle hit another bump on Tuesday (18Dec07) when the pop star was noticeably unprepared for a visit from her two young kids.The singer wasn't even at home when Sean Preston and Jayden James were dropped off by ex-husband Kevin Federline's bodyguard/driver.She had been staying at the Peninsula Hotel after a night out with friends and was almost 30 minutes late to greet her kids.Upon her arrival, a nanny was dispatched to a nearby supermarket to pick up milk and juice for the boys.A photographer staking out the Spears compound says, "Britney arrived really flustered and obviously had other things on her mind. The nanny went shopping as soon as she arrived".The slip-up came just hours after Federline's attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan won a delay for the latest custody hearing, claiming he needed time to reschedule a deposition meeting with Spears and review what she says under oath.The next hearing will now take place in February (08).Meanwhile in related news Britney Spears' teenage sister Jamie-Lynn is pregnant with her first child.

Bosses at children's TV network Nickelodeon, where the 16-year-old fronts hit show Zoey 101, have confirmed the baby news.

In a statement given to Wenn minutes ago, a spokesman for the TV network said, "We respect Jamie Lynn's decision to take responsibility in this sensitive and personal situation.

"We know this is a very difficult time for her and her family, and our primary concern right now is for Jamie Lynn's well being".

Reports suggest the father is student Casey Aldridge, who Spears allegedly dumped this summer (07). Jamie-Lynn has told OK! magazine she intends to keep the baby.
