Bono has have joined U.S. President Barack Obama at the top of a new Agents of Change list by Rolling Stone magazine.
Along with pals Kanye West, M.I.A and Lil Wayne, the U2 star was amongst the 100 leaders, celebrities, writers and thinkers, who editors feel are crucial to America's future.
President Obama leads the way, ahead of Google bosses Larry Page and Sergey Brin and Apple genius Steve Jobs. Bono comes in fourth, West seventh, M.I.A. 11th and Lil Wayne 19th.
Also making the top 20 are politician and environmentalist Al Gore, comedienne Tina Fey and moviemaker Judd Apatow. Rockers Arcade Fire are the top band on the new magazine list, ahead of Radiohead (30th) and Nine Inch Nails (46th).
