Etheredge: 'I'm Not Dating Bobby Brown'....
The woman credited as Bobby Brown's new girlfriend has spoken out about the rumours, insisting she's just the struggling R&B star's new manager and close pal.Alicia Etheredge has sat down for an exclusive interview with urban magazine Sister 2 Sister to clear up reports she and Brown have been dating since before his divorce from Whitney Houston was finalised earlier this year (Apr07).Houston look-a-like Etheredge, who has managed Macy Gray for the past five years, insists she's been friends with Brown on and off for 16 years and simply came to his aid when his marriage fell apart.She says, "He was going through a hard time and we missed being in each other's lives and we decided to do some work together."We've been close, but it's not really as hot and heavy like everybody wants to portray it. I think that he's (Brown) just moved on with his life and I have been the one that's been by his side."Obviously, we've been caught kissing... but we are really, really dear friends and that's the honest truth. There's nothing more to it."But Etheredge admits she and Brown briefly lived together, while the My Prerogative singer was recovering from his divorce.She adds, "I did offer him a place to escape to and really just to help him get his head straight... He has stayed with me for a short period of time."
