Bo Bruce has just signed to Mercury Records and is all ready to take her voice outside The Voice UK.
She’s grabbing summer by the scruff of its neck, making the transition from small screen superstar to hardy festival heroine with upcoming performances at T In The Park and V Festival.
After wowing viewers with her powerful, emotive outpourings, she got down to the final three of The Voice UK and won over the hearts and minds of the nation.
Her rendition of Coldplay’s ‘Charlie Brown’ earned her a gold star from the band who saw it, loved it, and personally invited her to their Manchester show. Needless to say, she loved that!
Kate Bush gave her the seal of approval for her cover of ‘Running Up That Hill’ and Danny O’Donoghue still tells anyone who listens what a talent she is. Suffice to say Bo has a pretty impressive fan base.
Following her meteoric rise, 2010’s EP ‘Search The Night’ shot into the iTunes chart at No.2 and caused tailbacks on Bo’s YouTube channel.
In the meantime, Bo is busy writing and recording an album that will be released later this year. Watch this space.
