Taboo surprised young students in Los Angeles last week by turning up unannounced to deliver musical instruments to their school before taking to the stage for their annual concert.
The rapper visited Miramonte Elementary on Friday (17Jun11) to help the Little Kids Rock organisation, which provides free instruments to public schools in America.
He delivered 10 electric guitars to the music department and then joined the pupils during their spring concert.
Taboo, who grew up in L.A., says, "It's an honour for me to support music education in my community. As a parent and a lifelong Angeleno, I recognise the importance of the arts in our classrooms. Little Kids Rock does such important work keeping music in the schools and I encourage everyone to get involved by donating and supporting their cause."
