Billy Joel is turning his historic concerts at New York's Shea Stadium this week into a documentary.The rocker will take to the stage at the home of the New York Mets baseball team to perform two final gigs before the stadium is torn down and replaced with a new state-of-the-art ballpark.The occasion will be immortalised on film by directors Greg Whiteley and Jon Small, who will intersperse the concert with documentary footage.It is being produced by Joel's Maritime production company. Joel will play at the stadium on Wednesday and Friday.The Beatles performed the first ever concert at Shea, in 1965.
