Big Sean faces sexual assault charges
Big Sean is facing trial over charges of sexual assault.
The hip hop star, real name Sean Anderson, was taken into custody with companion Willie Hansbro over an encounter with a female fan at a concert with Wiz Khalifa in New York.
The two men, freed on a $500 bail, were accused of forcible touching, unlawful imprisonment and sexual abuse.
They appeared in court on Tuesday where the judge issued a gag order on the case as the alledged victim is only 17, according to AllHipHop.com.
Anderson and Hansbro are due back in court on 11 October.
The two have yet to enter their plea, although Big Sean's lawyer has already dismissed the charges insisting: "Both men were charged with misdemeanours and they both vehemently deny the allegations. I am confident, that after further investigation, both men will be vindicated."
