Avril Lavigne made baseball bosses apologise to fans after she made a foul mouthed rant during her performance.
The Tampa Bay Ray bosses were “extremely disappointed” after her performance.
The singer took to the stage on Saturday to perform a gig as part of the Tampa Bay Rays summer concerts, but she got angry after a number of sound problems.
Avril finally gave in and ranted at the technicians in front of 25,000 fans.
The Rays have released a statement saying “The Rays demand profanity-free performances from all of our concert performers, and we are extremely disappointed... It is not consistent with the atmosphere that Tropicana Field is known for."
Lavigne was also embarrassed by her own behaviour, and before leaving the stage added, "We just had so much fun tonight and we want to take the tirade out and say thank you to the Tampa Bay Rays! I'm truly sorry if anyone was offended by my language."
