Aretha Franklin sang at a high-profile gay couple wedding in New York.
This comes just four months after the state legalised same sex marraiges.
The music veteran was the star guest as the former Intrepid Museum president Bill White married his longterm partner Bryan Eure at Manhattan's Four Seasons restaurant on Sunday night.
Franklin performed a number of her hits at the reception, including I Say A Little Prayer and Respect, and she ended her set with a rendition of I Will Always Love You, according to the New York Daily News.
