Aqua, and their Barbie Girl friends look set to make a chart comeback to the UK after bagging a Number One in their native Denmark with comeback song 'Back To The 80s'.
Although we probably need Aqua back in our lives as much as an Eskimo needs an ice cube tray, this is their first single in nine years, and it hopes to propel them back into the charts.
But if you thought you could just avoid the single over the coming months, don’t be too smug, because it’s actually just a precursor to the release of their upcoming greatest hits album, due out on June 15.
What’s more, the single somehow managed to knock that little sex kitten, and Eurovision winner, Alexander Rybak and his Fairytale from the top spot. No offence Aqua, but other than Barbie Girl and Dr Jones, what have been your great hits?
