Peter Andre

Peter Andre

"come and have a go if you think you're hard enough".

Katie Price’s cage fighter boyfriend Alex Reid really is trying to rile Peter Andre this week isn’t he? After claiming that Junior called him ‘dad’ to ranting down the phone at him this week, Alex has now issued a challenge to Peter Andre.

Let’s face it, we know Peter has got the body of an athlete, but we really hope he doesn’t bite after Alex muttered the formidable phrase, "come and have a go if you think you're hard enough".

And we’re not joking about it either, the British Association of Mixed Marshall Arts (BAMMA) - who are organising Alex's next bout - have agreed to promote the clash, should Peter agree to it.

Whilst the BAMMA reckon the fight would attract thousands of fans and could even sell out London's Wembley Arena, they have warned Andre that  he needs to bulk up first and get in shape; "The potential for a fight both financially and crowd-wise is limitless. But it would be too much of a mis-match. Alex is a legitimate sportsman and although Pete is not in bad shape himself he'd need six months training to keep up."

We all know that Alex is keen to prove he’s worthy of being Katie’s new man, but whilst we all loved Pete’s kind and caring approach, Alex seems to feel the need to use brute strength to win over the public.

So, what do you think? Should Pete go for it, or stay dignified?
