Adam Levine struggled to win over his Russian girlfriend's mother as she disapproved of his many tattoos.
The Maroon 5 frontman is dating Victoria's Secret model Anne Vyalitsyna, but admits his body art, which covers his arms and torso, was not appreciated by the blonde beauty's mum.
Levine tells Elle magazine: "The tattoos were a concern - her mum didn't love them. They're culturally accepted here, but it's different in Russia."
