Adam Ant hopes to have relaunched his pop career with a gig in London on Tuesday Night (March 29th).
The Prince Charming hitmaker played a series of his classic hits, including Stand and Deliver and Antmusic, during the show at a club in the Chelsea area of the city.
The musician is hitting the road in the U.K. in May (11) for his first full tour for 15 years, and he told of his joy at being back on stage after years of mental health issues affected his performing and songwriting skills.
After the gig, he said, 'I'm really looking forward to (the tour)... I missed it - that's what I do. And (I missed) the money... (It's more fun) now I know what I'm doing."
Ant - real name Stuart Goddard - played the show with his new band The Good, The Mad And The Lovely Posse, which includes backing singer Georgina Baillie.
Baillie hit headlines in 2008 when she was the subject of prank calls by comedians Russell Brand and Jonathan Ross to her grandfather, Fawlty Towers actor Andrew Sachs.
