Australian pop group 5 Seconds Of Summer have blamed attractive women in the crowds of their shows for making them forget their lyrics when on-stage.
The singers admit that they struggle to concentrate when they lock eyes with a hot female at gigs, and so they forget the words to their songs as a result.
5 Seconds Of Summer / Credit: WireImageMichael Clifford, guitarist to the band told The Metro: "We have definitely forgotten the lyrics before.
"It's really embarrassing because you'll be singing the words and then you'll see (a hot girl). It's like, 'Oh, you are so attractive!'"
He also explained that he thinks their down to earth nature is what sets them apart from other artists.
"The whole fame aspect and stuff like that... ultimately we are just a pop-rock band who play music.
"We're nothing special, we're just dudes, and I think that's the difference between us and other people."
Despite their love for the opposite sex, lead singer Luke Hemmings has insisted he doesn't think relationships would work for the members of 5SOS.
"I wouldn't mind a girlfriend. But I don't think it would work, there's just not a lot of time." he said.
