...Honestly it's been amazing, I feel like Leaving Home allowed me to grow so much as an artist, and I was growing so much as a person too, I was living in LA with my friends and I was starting to see the start of my music stuff and getting an agent and playing shows that were selling out, I was just in a really good head space when I made that album. It was a lot of fun.
Where are you based?
I've lived in LA for 2 years now, but I'm from a town called Riverside which is about an hour and a half out of LA.
How long are spending in the UK when you come on Saturday?
I think I have 3 shows in London. I'll be in Europe for a total of 3 weeks I believe. I get 2 days off in London, when I land the first show is in Dublin so I'll fly to Ireland and start the start.
Are you excited to start touring?
I'm so excited, you have no idea. I've been waiting for this for so long and it's finally happening it's kinda crazy.
Are you spending much time touring in 2012?
Oh yeah, I'd say probably 9 out of 12 months I'll be on the road.
Are you planning another album?
I'm actually working on my debut album for Columbia records right now. It should be out anytime between June and October, there's a big window right now and it depends on when I get it done and when I'm happy with it and I've turned it in.
Leaving Home is available for download now.
