Coming to screens soon, Discovering Lucy Angel will be allowing viewers an in-depth look into the life of a family on the brink of some major success.

We got the chance to chat to Lucy Angel ahead of the show's premiere all about the series, their music and much more - read on to find out what they had to say.

What should viewers expect from Discovering Lucy Angel?

The unexpected. A whole lot of family, love, music and chaos. Not to mention you will see more of the G-Man than you ever hoped to... but don't worry you will love him - he is awesome.

What has it been like working with executive producer JT Taylor on the show?

We are so fortunate to know JT and even luckier to work with him. He is an awesome human being and the most talented director. There is a lot of trust. We knew going into the project JT genuinely believed in us and wanted to tell our story. We couldn't be happier with the series.

For those who are new to your music, what should they expect from your sound?

Our sound is driven by close harmonies, strong melodies and honest lyrics that we hope everyone can relate to. We know the three of us can!

As Lucy Angel you're a mother-daughter trio - what's it like working so closely with family?

If you've ever seen the movie Christmas Vacation, it's like that but all year long. The honest truth is that we are all best friends and would not have it any other way. It's pretty unique and special to be able to share these experiences as a family. Naturally, as with any family there are some bumps in the road but luckily we all have a sense of humour and that's how we survive.

How difficult would you say it is to make a name for yourself in the world of country music?

It is definitely not a dream for the faint-of-heart. You have to be smart, work hard, want it more than anything and you still need a lot of luck.

What would you say are some of your best moments in your career to-date?

It was definitely surreal being the first Western Hemisphere act to sing at the Great Hall of The People in Beijing, China. It is mind blowing that on the opposite side of the world there are such huge country music fans. We're also pretty sure it was the first time cowboy boots set foot in the Great Hall!

For those coming to your showcase at Ronnie Scotts on Feb 11, what should be expected?

We're there to introduce docu-series Discovering Lucy Angel which airs on Showbiz TV in the UK on Valentine's Day. We also decided that it would be a great opportunity to play a few songs in an acoustic setting. We can't wait to see everybody there!

Do you have any definitive aims or goals for your career?

We would really love to get to a point where all three of us can be ready to leave on time - If we can do that, we can do anything.

What's coming up for you in the next few weeks and months?

We are so excited for 2016! Coming off the success of our single 'Crazy Too' we are gearing up for the next single release to radio early spring. We'll also be touring the US and can't wait to get back for some shows in Europe and the UK.
