For those who may be new to your music, how best would you describe your sound?
Ambient pop music is what I've been saying.
What challenges have you faced in the music industry so far?
Getting heard I guess is the hardest. No complaints though, all in good time.
How difficult would you say this career path is in terms of making a name for yourself?
I mean you're probably more likely to get struck by lightning than making this your career. People still get struck by lightning, here's hoping.
How important is it for you to have creative control over the work you produce?
That doesn't bother me. Do whatever you want with the songs I make.
Where do you draw influence and inspiration from for your work?
I love watching the 'Soundcity' documentary or interviews from my favourite bands. That always gets me pumped to make music.
If you could collaborate with anybody going forward, who would you choose and why?
I would love to do anything with John Frusciante. He just seems like a true musician and a stand up person.
Tell us a random, funny fact about you that not many people know.
I used to play in black metal bands.
Do you have definitive aims or goals for your career?
I just want people to listen to the songs I make, that's it really.
Where do you hope to be this time next year?
Well I run a recording studio full time. So I hope still doing that and maybe playing music outside of the UK.
