1. Hello there little monster, what are you up to?
Hello there Ruth and thanks for your refreshing questioning! We’ve just finished rehearsals and have popped to KC’s stables to see how our young, Dutch dressage horse ‘Admiraal’ is doing.
2. So, tell me a bit about what you’re here to promote?
We’re here to promote our new album ‘3: Lipstick and Latex’ (released March 28) and our next single ‘Good Enough’ (released March 13 ). We’ll keep you posted on twitter @officialsirens or FB -sirensofficial - so keep your eyes and ears open for updates!
3. And if we didn’t have any clue as to who you were, what three words sum you up?
Camp. Sexy. Cool.
4. And as Jacko had the Moonwalk and Elvis had the snake hips, what do you have that makes you unique?
Superhero Powers ;-)
5. Now, clearly we need to get to know each other more, so tell me an interesting fact about you that noone else knows?
Fact: We’re the longest continuing British girl group to date! (Oh and did you know we had our first No.1 Stateside with Club la la).
6. What song do you wish you’d written?
There are so so many but recent tracks, we’ll shoot for Poker Face.
7. If I was contemplating coming to your show or sitting at home and TV, how would you convince me to come out?
Well, at every Sirens show we give away a freebie. This month’s item (thanks to the trend of Rhi Rhi’s S&M) is a gimp mask, now surely that’s worth breaking the armchair habit for, huh!?
8. And if you were to take me on a trip to your hometown, what would be the first place we’d go?
Kitchenware HQ – where you’ll experience a taste of real music in a real creative environment. You’ll have to make good use of your gimp mask enroute as the location is top secret (a la The Bat Cave). After all, we can’t allow the likes of Dr.Psycho&The Evil Professor Cowell discovering the location and stealing our secrets on how to rid the world of music crime (Oh and how to bring back TOTP&CDUK).
9. Who was the last person you called / text and what for?
We called our GCS sisters in NYC to get instruction for our next mission – Codename – 3. We then text @KWarerecords HQ to inform the gang that ‘3’ has begun.
10. If you were a superhero, what would be your superpower?
We are Superheroes, we can’t reveal our powers but they’re damn impressive ;)
11. If you had to date a member of the same sex who would it be?
We’re all agreed, our top three are Ciara, Gaga and Madonna – The Dream Team.
12. What was the last thing you bought?
A truck load of masks for our next gig as we’re predicting a high turnout.
13. Have you ever been arrested?
Many have tried and failed.
14. Speaking of prison - if you were to send someone to prison for crimes against music, who would it be?
Dr.Psycho and Eviil Professor Cowell – we’d need uber-special ops to contain those f@$ckers! As you’re aware they have special powers too! Masks at the ready, cover their eyes and ears, prevent them from taking control of those prison guards!.........We could continue this for quite some time but the moral of the story; we’re not perverts, there’s method in our madness, we’re simply trying to save the world from crimes against music! The End.
