Sebastopol are hoping to bring back a simpler time of music. With their stripped back, minimalistic sound and penchant for black and white (hence the slightly more muted colour palette than usual of these here videos) the London group are harking back to the days of the seventies.
With their first album Hello All Stations, This Is Zero getting rave reviews, we got both Nick and Phil from the band to pop up to our fortress of solitude and talk to us about their unique style, their dislike of synths and the merits of Agatha Christie paperbacks.
Sebastopol also gifted us with a fantastic acoustic session, which you can have a look at both here and here. Go on, treat yourself.
