In such a short space of time American band One Republic have had huge success, with the help of a certian Timbaland.Having just released their dubut album Dreaming Out Loud the band are about to releae their new single the catchy Stop and Stare.

What did it feel like to be 21 and enrolled in Production 101 at the University of Timbaland?

It was an amazing experience to learn from one of the best at a young age.

Has being a producer always been your main ambition or did you want to be a singer more?

I always wanted to be a singer and my biggest priority is OneRepublic. I started producing to pay the bills and it started to take off - I am trying to be creative and find ways to do both.

What was it like going from producing songs for international singers like Jennifer Lopez, to starting your career all over again by creating a band?

It started with the band and producing has found its way into my life out of necessity and luckily has really paid off,

What gave you the idea to give yourselves the band name OneRepublic?

It stared with Republic and by adding the one makes it more unifying - OneRepublic is a strong and universal word

How did you feel when Mosley Music Group, made you the first rock band on his (Timbaland) label?

Honored

How did the duet Timbaland come about?

Well its not a duet. Tim heard the song and loved and he knew if he attached his name to it - it would launch us as a band even though he didn't write it.

What was he like to work with and what did he bring to the record?

He was great to work with and I'm sure we'll work together again in the future.

What did it feel like being in No1 position on the Top 40 chart for two months?

Phenomenal

How well do you think MySpace helps to promote new bands?

MySpace if used correctly it is an amazing asset to help your music get heard. It's like free advertising and great way to network.

OneRepublic got a major label deal, what was the reason it fell through?

The people involved with the project got fired.

Are you looking forward to your tour, which American state are you looking forward to performing in the most?

We love getting out and playing our music to the fans. We especially love performing in our home states of Colorado and California.
