-How's the atmosphere backstage on the tour? Are there any egos, or is it quite relaxed?
Yeah, all the other bands are assholes. [Laughing]I'm just kidding. Everyone's been awesome on this tour. Everyone hangs out. We all got kicked out of a bar together last night, because a bouncer was messing with someone on the tour. We all just ran and started pushing bouncers, trying to fight these bouncers. They kicked us out of the club, but that's how it is. One person on the tour got messed with, and everyone ran and started pushing the bouncers without asking questions. So yeah, there's a lot of new friends on this tour.

-Are you excited for the Yellowcard tour later this year?
We're really stoked, man. We grew up loving that band, they were definitely an influence. We've worked with Ryan in the past, and he's always been really cool. Ryan told us a long time ago, "hey, when we headline, we want to bring you guys out." They stuck true to their word, so that's pretty cool of them. We're really excited for the tour.

-Didn't Ryan co-write one of the tracks on the album?
Yeah, we wrote a song with Ryan, the first song on the record called 'Tie Me Down'. It was cool. We just hung out, had a couple of guitars, drunk some beers and wrote a song.

-What can people expect from your live show?
I don't know, a lot of energy, hopefully. We really love what we do, so we hope it comes through. If you love what you do, and you're genuine, then hopefully that translates.

-Going back to this tour, how have the shows been so far?
They've been great. All the shows have been a lot of fun, the crowds have been great. All the bands have been great, it's been fun. It's a crazy, awesome, f***** up tour.

-Do you have any plans for a headline tour in the UK?
We'd definitely like to. We're already talking about trying to come back, hopefully pretty soon. It's always up in the air, but we're pushing to come back as soon as we can.

-What does the future hold for Every Avenue, after the Yellowcard tour?
We're not really sure right now. We're just going to keep touring. We're definitely trying to do a lot more over-seas stuff, and tour our asses off.
