Whats you’re best song to perform?
Like my favourite? “Becoming The Bull” is always a good live song also “Gallows” on our newest record also goes down really well live so those are my favourite.
Who was your inspiration for “congregation of the damn album”?
I’m not really sure I think everyone in the band has given different inspiration for different things but we’re mostly inspired by ourselves with our own work. We’ve tapped into our catalogue [albums] from the past and taken a couple of hints from what we have already done and naturally progressed from writing new songs and having a fresh head on things.
With 2011 festivals already being organised in the UK, are you up for playing any?
Not as of now but we will see though I guess this year we did download and bunch of the European festivals so you never know.
What’s the best festival that you have played?
I think Download so far, Download is very easy and also the most famous festival, it is the festivals of all festivals. Definitely my favourite.
I can’t wait till festival season! Has the rockstar lifestyle affected your life?
It really hasn’t I mean we’re all as far as the cocaine and hookers go, that hasn’t entered our life yet.
Hopefully that won’t happen! So what is your typical day?
Get up around noon get some food, check out the venue and then we head to sound check maybe do a little press, play the show have cocktails and then hang out and try to have a good time.
You get to wake to wake up at 12?!
That’s pretty early for me, almost regular schedule, noon isn’t bad when you go to bed at 3 or 4 am.
So New Year is just around the corner so what are your plans?
Not sure going to be home so that will be nice, hang out with some friends so it will be good.
So have you been away quite a while?
We were out in the states for about two months and then we had six days off, went to Australia for a week. We’ve been away quite a bit so it will be nice to go home for a bit.
I bet that would be nice after so long.
What are you new year resolutions?
I always break them, but mine is the usual, be a better person, be healthy but its all the same to me.
My favourite album is “Congregation Of The Damned” and as a band you’ve said that this is the kind of sound you’re most comfortable with?
Over the albums it has become a challenge to find what we’re comfortable with and figuring out what works for us but it definitely feels much comfortable with the band.
What are you listening on your Ipod at the moment?
I’ve been listening to Bring Me To The Horizon new album a couple of days ago when tour started.
