Better Left Alone are a pop-punk quintet from Preston. In the summer of 2010, they recorded their new EP with producer John Mitchell, known for his work with You Me At Six, Enter Shikari and Funeral For A Friend. Their new single “We Will Never Know” was placed in BBC Lancashire Introducing’s top 40 tracks of 2010. We got in touch with drummer and founding member Mik Connor to ask him the 15 questions we ask everyone. 1. Hello there little monster, what are you up to? Currently sat on my sofa catching up with all the latest sports news. My band, Better Left Alone. We're a Preston based pop punk outfit and by this time next year we'll be millionaires …well maybe not but here's to hoping! 3. And if we didn't have any clue as to who you were, what three words sum you up?

Now, clearly we need to get to know each other more, so tell me an interesting fact about you that no-one else knows? If I was contemplating coming to your show or sitting at home and TV, how would you convince me to come out? Free hugs off 5 sweaty guys? The pub, can't beat the pub… or probably our practice room. 9. Who was the last person you called / text and what for? Emo Dann [Walling, guitarist], to tell him we had a gig on Thursday. X-ray vision! Hmmm.... 11. If you had to date a member of the same sex who would it be? Probably myself, at least I'd know that I'd put out on the first date. 12. What was the last thing you bought? My Second Skins custom drum kit! 13. Have you ever been arrested? Nope, too smart to get caught! 14. Speaking of prison - if you were to send someone to prison for crimes against music, who would it be? JEDWARD or any other talentless numpty that only got famous by singing out of tune on a TV talent show. 15. What were you doing last night at 11? Well it certainly wasn't sleeping! I was watching the NFL playoffs because I'm cool like that, you see.
