Working with top producer Yoad Nevo (Pet Shop Boys, Duran Duran, Girls Aloud, Goldfrapp), Devon-based three-piece These Reigning Days release their debut single ‘Changes’ on 20th February 2012.
As former lead singer & guitarist with The Quails, Dan Steer combined his innovative songwriting with his distinctive, striking voice and charismatic stage presence to achieve national success and widespread media acclaim, appearing at Glastonbury and Latitude’s BBC Radio 1 stage, in addition to supporting bands as varied as Muse, The Kooks, Newton Faulkner and Motorhead.
After starting their gigging career in 2011 supporting the Mercury Prize nominated Metronomy and headlining Combefest, These Reigning Days are set for a busy 2012, with three singles and an album scheduled for release before the end of summer 2012.
These Reigning Days already have appearances at UK and European festivals confirmed for 2012, including a slot at this year’s Electric Picnic.
With the video for debut single ‘Changes’ already playlisted on Q TV and national press secured, Dan Steer says of his new band, "It’s very different to anything I've done before.
"It combines a fusion of indie-rock with a subtle electro twist, but also with some deep and dark moments."
