The Last Shadow Puppets release their new single âMy Mistakes Were Made For Youâ on Monday the 20th of October 2008. Taken from their Mercury nominated âThe Age Of The Understatementâ album, âMy Mistakes Were Made For Youâ features the London Metropolitan Orchestra, conducted by Owen Pallet.
B-sides for âMy Mistakes Were Made For Youâ include an exclusive live orchestrated version of the bandâs âSeparate And Ever Deadlyâ plus live cover versions of the Lee Hazlewood and Nancy Sinatra classic âParis Summerâ and the Burt Bacharach penned, Love covered âMy Little Red Bookâ.
The Last Shadow Puppets are Alex Turner and Miles Kane. The band have recently played their first ever live shows, including rapturously received performances at the Reading and Leeds festivals. The Last Shadow Puppets will be touring the UK in October, including a special BBC Electric Proms performance at Liverpoolâs Philharmonic Hall on Friday the 24th of October.
