Tim Deluxe is back with a new single that’s set to explode both in the clubs and the charts and launch his brand new studio album. ‘Let The Beats Roll’ is released on 21st May and features Simon Franks from the Audio Bullys on vocals.Already championed on Radio 1 by Zane Lowe, Jo Whiley and Pete Tong Essential New Tune who have all played the record several times even though only a handful of CD promos were in circulation, Let The Beats Roll is the toughest jackin’ electro groove of the year. A simple bleepy melody, fearsome dirty electro beats, old school whoops and topped with the unmistakably dry vocals of Simon Franks of Audio Bullys ‘Let The Beats Roll’ is already set to be one of the tunes of 2007 - and it’s only April. The pairing only happened by accident - Tim Deluxe just happened to be mixing the track when Simon Franks from Audio Bullys popped his head round the studio door.  “Can I have a go at doing something over the top of that?”  he enquired politely.  A couple of hours later and what was initially intended as an instrumental track for Tim’s album had now turned into a hit record.  “We knew straight away it sounded great, but it was only a couple of nights later that it really hit home” says Tim. “I was DJ-ing at a club in Aberdeen and the weather suddenly turned bad, we were snowed in and no-one knew how they were going to get home and so the atmosphere was a bit low. I dropped ‘Let The Beats Roll’ and it went off. Everyone just forgot about the snow and went berserk.”It had the same effect on Brighton sea front at the Fatboy Slim beach party on New Year’s Day. A wintry deluge of rain and sleet was doing it’s best to dampen spirits the but when David Guetta played ‘Let The Beats Roll’ the 20,000 strong crowd roared with approval and the party took off from there.

‘Let The Beats Roll’ is the first single from his forthcoming new studio album ‘Ego Death’, which also includes an updated version of ‘RIP Groove’ - originally co-produced by Tim back in the mid-Nineties. The video has been directed by hot new director Rani Creevy (Alex Gaudino ‘Destination Calabria) and remixes come from Kurd Maverick, Rennie Pilgrem and hot new Skint signings Metal On Metal.

‘Let The Beats Roll’ will be released on Skint Records on May 21st with the album ‘Ego Death’ coming in the summer.Tim Deluxe
