London based five-piece, The Domino State, release their third single 'Firefly' for the Popfiction label on July 13th.
Following on from their two previous limited edition sold-out 7-inch singles, 'Iron Mask' and 'What's The Question?', 'Firefly' is the first track to be taken from the band's debut album, which is scheduled an autumn release.
A brooding some might say anthemic single, 'Firefly' is described as a spectrum of emotions surrounding the mystery of a loved one, coupled with the overwhelming
high and lows of ambition. An uncontrollable cocktail of both sentiment and abhorrence.
The band have been busy over the last six months or so, supporting M83 on their UK tour and opening for Coldplay at one of their London O2 Arena shows.
The band will be playing the following shows and festivals around the time of release.
June 26 Glastonbury Festival (The Bimble Inn stage @ The Park)
July 10 London Rough Trade East Instore Performance
July 16 Derby Club NME @ The Rockhouse
August 15 Summer Sundae Festival (w/ The Streets/The Zutons/The Charlatans)
August 16 Bloom Festival (w/Noah and The Whale/Just Jack/Esser)
