'We The People' is the brand new single from Dublin boys The Chakras which is due for release on the 2nd May 2011.
It is a propulsive, Euphoric rallying cry, and a skyscraping statement of intent. Blasting throughn the speakers in a swirling, trance like mantra, it does all the things an anthem should do.
The Chakra's consist of Rocky and Gordo Whittaker, Richie Mcardle, Bryan Pepper and Ian Kane who formed the band after being friends since school.
The Chakra's gave up all other ambition to begin their journey in music together and it seems to have paid off well.
Lead singer Rocky said, "We don't sit in a circle singing Kumbya, but there's definately a spiritual side to any good music. We've got a real energy and emotion to our songs, so the name has stuck.
The Dubliners are set to release their album, (mixed by Chris Potter) in time for a summer release through Planet Function Records and have been playing a series of dates throughout April.
