Out 25th June 2007 on Epic RecordsScouting For Girls release their debut EP, 'It's Not About You' on 25th June through Epic Records.

Following an hour within the stale and cramped confines of their Acton rehearsal rooms, the band were signed up to Epic Records in February on the spot.In a flurry of activity following their signing, the band were whisked out to Helioscentric Studios in Rye and have been committing their deliciously upbeat, summery melodies to tape.As the interest grew and the barrage of e-mails and messages flooded in, the band created and nurtured their rabidly growing fan club. The club already consists of 2,000+ unique 'Wolf Cubs' all receiving their regular feed of Scouting For Girls self-penned booklets, membership cards, gig ticket discounts and treasured demos. This debut EP introduces Scouting For Girls¹ catalogue of close harmonies and colossal choruses that have already seen the band sell-out their London gigs on the strength of their MySpace demos alone.

Not since Supergrass has a band managed to make such joyous, moving and vivid music with the onus on girls, innocence, and the fun and pitfalls of everyday life.May 15 2007 - Hoxton Bar & Grill, LondonDebut
