OK Go continue to push creative boundaries with their new video End Love. They shoot in one take – but in this instance, the take was 21 hours long. Using time-lapse photography, it follows the band from one day to the next, as they unfurl their sleeping bags at a park near their hometown of Silverlake, CA and kick up their heels the next morning with a group of volunteer dancers.
OK Go will release a Deluxe Edition of their third album, Of The Blue Colour Of The Sky, produced by ex-Mercury Rev member David Fridmann (Flaming Lips, MGMT), later this year on its own label, Paracadute. It will be distributed in the U.S. by RED, a division of Sony Music Entertainment, and by ADA in the rest of the world.
On 1st March 2010 OK Go released This Too Shall Pass as a single from their album. The video, which was shot inside a Rube Goldberg machine created by OK Go and Syyn Labs engineers, has garnered nearly 14 million views and is the #1 Top Rated (All Time) music video on YouTube.
OK Go has announced a world tour taking in America, Canada, Italy, Holland, Belgium, Finland and the UK. The band will be arriving in the UK in July.
