Whilst currently working on tracks for a new album, due out in February, Metronomy have released Radio Ladio on limited 7" through their own imprint Need Now Future.Radio Ladio is a pretty perfect reintroduction to the band's brilliant hybrid style. Flecks of Pharrell (the best bits), Rick James, and occasionally OutKast (on this track at least) are knitted together with trademark Metronomy electronics to produce something funkier and fresher than anything else to have been packaged and shipped out.They have also just been newly signed to Because Music.
