LadyHawke releases her new single 'Paris Is Burning' on March 2nd on Modular through Island. The song was originally released last year as a limited edition single and has since gone on to become a live favourite and dancefloor hit around the country. Â
2008 proved to be a busy and ultimately successful year for the New Zealander Pip Brown. She released her eponymously titled debut album to critical acclaim, finding fans in Kylie Minogue and Courtney Love along the way.
She played three gig great gigs at Glastonbury Festival and completed her first headline UK tour, including playing a sold out London Scala show in the process. In December she released her most successful single to date, My Delirium, which has gone on to sell over 30,000 copies with her album featuring in many of the end of year 'best of' polls for both album and singles. Â
2009 looks set to be even better. As well as releasing 'Paris Is Burning' in March, LADYHAWKE has been confirmed as main support on the Ting Tings dates in February.
