Kappa Gamma
Kappa Gamma is a young, brand new four piece from Nottingham that play smart, captivating and earthy sound will appeal to fans of Wild Beasts, Battles and Post War Years.
They will be releasing their debut single - ‘Just Another’ b/w ‘Wildlife’ via Destination Moon, the label set up by Rolo Tomassi (in partnership with Nottingham based label Denizen Recordings). James Spence of Rolo Tomassi on his new signings: "I first saw Kappa Gamma play in December of last year. After two songs I turned to a friend and said I had to release something by this band.
I was transfixed with their wildly inventive and carefully crafted music. I've followed them keenly on a local scale and can't wait to introduce their music to a wider audience."
Since forming at college late last year, childhood friends KAPPA GAMMA have been busy supporting the likes of Django Django, Swimming, Dog is Dead and DZ Deathrays and have captured the captivating charm and energy of their live sets in this debut. They are worthy of their place at the centre of the exciting buzz currently surrounding Nottingham.
The band have already played Dot to Dot Festival, and this summer sees the band release their debut single ‘Just Another’ on limited 7" vinyl on September 3rd with B side ‘Wildfire’ ahead of a series of videos, produced in conjunction with Late of The Pier.
