Gloria has been announced as the next single from Canterbury. The soaring track shows the band at their most delicate 'essentially it’s a love song but with a bit of a twist,' says vocalist Mike Sparks.
'Rather than the situation being all perfect and rosy, it questions whether the two parties are doing the right thing or not.
'Often when two people are attracted to each other, its for the wrong reasons, and there are lines that are being crossed which shouldn’t be, but the feelings are too strong to resist'
Canterbury will be touring with Deaf Havana this November before heading out on their own headline run later that month.
The 13 dates will take them all over the UK in support of Heavy In The Day, the album which enjoyed charts success in the Rock itunes chart fluctuating between the number 1 & 2 spots all week. Support comes from Cambridge based, Mallory Knox.
"We are very excited to announce that Mallory Knox will be supporting us on our headline tour this coming winter. It’s amazing to be able to have such a brilliant band on the road with us, and we know they'll be putting on a killer show each night.
"They are just further proof of the British rock movement being so strong at the moment, and we can't wait to hit the road with them as touring companions." says Luke Prebble.
