Canterbury, one of the most beloved UK bands are set to release new single Saviour on 2nd July, followed by their sophomore album Heavy In The Day via Sweet Lime Records on 9th July 2012.
The album, recorded in Devon with Peter Miles (Futures, We Are The Ocean) at the Producers helm, is something very special indeed. Storytelling lyrics, both light and dark weave their way throughout the album, massive chorus’ and countless epic moments result in a huge sounding record.
"Saviour, like a few others on the new album is about the last few years of our lives, what has, or more importantly has not been happening to us and how you react to having time on your hands.
"The song itself came as an extension of another, song on the new record and James got that riff and we ran with it" says Mike Sparks (vox)
After their sold out UK tour earlier this year, the band will be playing select shows this summer including a special acoustic instore at Banquet Records, Kingston on 9th July.
