The Strokes have pushed back the release of their upcoming fourth album by four months - because the recording is taking longer than expected.
The Last Nite hitmakers were expected to release the follow-up to 2006's First Impressions of Earth in September, but frontman Julian Casablancas admits the currently-untitled record is nowhere near ready.
He tells Clash magazine, "I think January. I was told not to predict anymore. But I'm pretty sure it should be out in January."
