Presented by Fearne Cotton and Dave Berry, iTunes Festival 2009 will give viewers exclusive backstage access to some of the hottest names in music today.
The superb Roundhouse venue will capture the unique Camden vibe with what promises to be one of the most exciting events in this summer’s music calendar.
The second instalment of the iTunes Festival will see Snow Patrol, Franz Ferdinand, Jack Peñate and Ironik rock the Roundhouse to packed audience of fans.
Snow Patrol’s 2006 album Eyes Open was a phenomenal success for the band that regularly performs in front of a crowd of thousands. However, lead singer Gary Lightbody reveals it wasn’t always that way. “When we first started out, we played a strip club to around 15 people. It was a strip club during the day like a bad super hero and by night a rock venue. They had to screw the pole off stage for us so we could do the sound check.” He jokes.
Gary also chats to Fearne and Dave about playing footie with Coldplay whilst touring America and how playing at Shepherds Bush Empire defined the band’s future.

iTunes Festival 2009 on ITV2 will showcase the greatest performances of the festival. ITV2’s viewers will get up close and personal to their favourite bands throughout the show-stopping performances of Oasis, Kasabian, The Saturdays, Paulo Nutini, Placebo, Jack Peñate, Calvin Harris, MIKA and Bloc Party.
