After impressing the critics with an assured second album and a series of acclaimed live performances earlier this year, Martha Wainwright returns to the UK in October for a major UK tour. Backed up by her excellent live band, Martha plays a total of fourteen dates, supported by Australian newcomers Angus & Julia Stone.
Marthaâs summer got off to a flying start with a quartet of acclaimed concert dates in London, Glasgow Birmingham and Manchester, where she thrilled audiences with songs from her new album. Backed up by her excellent live band, she went on to captivate crowds at a host of UK festivals, including memorable performances at Glastonbury, Latitude and The Big Chill.
âI Know Youâre Married But Iâve Got Feelings Tooâ is Martha Wainwrightâs critically acclaimed second album. Produced by Brad Albetta, Martin Terefe, and Tore Johansson, itâs a hugely accomplished work that features Marthaâs best melodies to date.
Packed with incredible vocal performances and razor-sharp wordplay, the album builds on the strong musical foundations of her self-titled debut with 12 excellent new tracks, including a touching cover of Pink Floydâs âSee Emily Playâ and recent singles âBleeding All Over Youâ and âYou Cheated Meâ.
