In Monday's Daily Rap rumours circulate that Busta Rhymes has been dropped from label, Trae tha Truth gives back to the community, Chris Brown to make move into movies and Taboo marries girlfriend.

Has Busta been dropped?

Even though rumors have infiltrated the web over the last couple of weeks about Busta Rhymes being dropped from Aftermath/Interscope, the label has yet to announce the split officially.

The alleged break up between the rapper who is scheduled to put out his second album through Aftermath/Interscope out in August is down to an argument between the Brooklyn based rapper and label head Jimmy Iovine.

Busta has recently been invited to perform at the Royal Albert Hall in September at a concert for Orange Rock Corps, the British equivalent of Boost Mobile Rock Corps in the US.

Trae Day in Houston

Rapper Trae tha Truth has gone above and beyond in providing for his community and appealing to others to do the same. His hard work has paid off having been recognized by city officials in the city of Houston, TX where the rapper resides with the naming of Trae Day.

July 22nd will be named after the rapper and will consist of a big block party for all those to whom he helps. There will be performances and give always at the event too.

Trae is currently a free agent having left former label Rap-A-Lot last year.

Chris Brown hitting the big screen

Looks like R&B crooner Chris Brown is ready to take further steps into the world of movies. Chris who has already starred in Stomp the Yard and This Christmas is in talks to appear alongside Idris Elba, Matt Dillon and TI in Bone Deep, whose storyline revolves a group of robbers.

Chris Brown is currently dominating the UK charts with his Exclusive album, the singers sophomore project which features the song No Air with American Idol winner Jordin Sparks.

Wedding Bells

Black Eyed Peas member Taboo was married this past weekend to his long time girl-friend Jaymie Dizon in Pasadena, California. He is the first member of the platinum selling group to tie the knot and of course was watched on by his fellow band members.

Taboo is set to release a solo album later this year which is set to feature appearances by Shakira, Pitbull and the Kumbia Kings.
