Even with exemplary first week sales for his recent release T.I vs. TIP, the rapper has found himself in hot water. A recent performance at the ESPY Award pre-party in Los Angeles on Wednesday night left a fan leaving the venue with a bloody nose after being attacked with a Mic by the rapper born Clifford Harris.This comes after the RIAA announced that his fifth studio album went gold in the first week. The first Hip-Hop album to do so, so far this year.
Chamillionaire looks to September 18th
With four million ring tone sales to his name, more awards than he ever envisioned, Houston rapper Chamillionaire is releasing his sophomore album The Ultimate Victory on September 18th. The lead off single which features pioneering rapper Slick Rick Hip-Hop Police has taken control of Internet sites and has been voted the number one added track to cross over radio stations.Rapper Chamillionaire stated that Hip-Hop Police is literally 'the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the Ultimate Victory' and insiders have reported that the rapper has really pushed himself creatively with this project.
Master P takes reigns at NAACP Meeting
Former US President Bill Clinton was expected to talk at an NAACP town-hall meeting in Detroit Michigan, but when he was unable to attend the 1,000 strong audience made up of members of the NAACP welcomed rapper and motivator Master P to the podium as a stand in.

With the main focus of the meeting being the youth and education, Master P explained his turn around in life to the audience "I come from the ghetto. I'm a living witness that you can make it." The rapper born Percy Miller touched on becoming strong leaders, how important education is and he also explained his recent change in direction with his lyrics.

The NAACP which stands for National Association for the Advancement of Colored People is a civil rights organization for ethnic minorities in the USA.

Suspect in Stack Bundles Case Arrested
According to a New York newspaper, the NYPD have arrested the man who is allegedly guilty of pulling the trigger on rising rap star Stack Bundles last month. Lee Woods was arrested for his involvement in an ambush on two police officers in Brooklyn earlier this week.

Diddy looking for a PA
He may have lost his girl-friend this week but one thing Sean Combs is adamant in finding is his new PA. Utilizing the Internet for interviews, Combs is asking prospective candidates to submit a video of themselves explaining why they are good for the job using the video hosting site YouTube.com.

Those interested in working for the super mogul should upload their three minute or less to the YouTube site and tag it "Diddy assistant." YouTube.com was founded in 2006 and was named TIME magazines 'Invention of the Year' for 2006.

Lil Kim acts for Charity
Brooklyn rapper Lil Kim, born Kimberly Jones has teamed up with the MusiCares foundation to raise money for a silent auction which is to be held at the Grammy's On The Hill Ceremony in Washington, DC on September 5, 2007.

The Grammy's On The Hill Ceremony present awards to outstanding individuals in the region who have improved the environment for the creative community and Lil Kim has donated many things to the organization that comes to the aid of those in the music industry in their time of need.

Beyond this project Lil Kim and her philanthropic outlet Lil Kim Cares has helped raise funds for organizations dealing with homelessness, HIV/AIDS, domestic violence and child abuse.
