Debbie Mathers reaches out to Son
The Grandmother of Eminem has indicated that the rappers estranged mother, Debbie, with whom he has battled with both in his entertainment life and his real life could be on her death bed after falling ill during heart surgery.
Debbie Mathers who last year released her tell all book about being the mother of one of the world’s biggest rappers has one dying wish and that would be to make up with her son and his daughter Hailey.
The couple have battles publicly over the years with Eminem penning some controversial lyrics stemming from his experiences with his Mom. It is unclear if Eminem has responded to the olive branch his Mother and Grandmother are currently waving.
Jim Jones Back to Court
Rapper Jim Jones will return to court to face charges of misdemeanour assault stemming from an altercation between him and Javon Smith, NeYo’s road manager back in December of last year.
Jones opted against taking a plea deal and said he would battle the case out in criminal court after it was revealed Smith was suing the rapper for $7 million in damages in the civil court.
Legal representation for the Dipset member, Scott Leemon recognizes that the criminal action is brought about in hopes of then bringing the civil action into effect. Jones is back in court on June 4th.
C-Murder loses Legal team
Rapper Cory Miller who appealed against his guilty verdict in the murder trial of a 16 year old boy after an altercation outside a Louisiana night club in 2002 has lost his legal team due to not paying his bills.
The rapper who posted $1 million bail last month to avoid sitting in prison while awaiting trial in August, is now said to be looking for new legal counsel after Ron Rakosky filed to be disassociated from the case after not receiving payments from his client for over three years.
It was Rakosky who battled to have the initial guilty charge dropped after witness tampering became apparent.
Jill Scott’s New Addition
Songstress Jill Scott welcomed her first child into the world earlier this week when she gave birth to a son Jett Hamilton Roberts.
The child weighed in at seven pounds and eight ounces and is the first for her and partner John Roberts, who Scott will be marrying later this year.
