Oprah Winfrey has failed to invite Hip-Hop stars to her show in the past. Rappers such as Ice Cube and 50 Cent have spoken out about how the Media Mogul has failed to acknowledge their presence in giving back to the communities in which they were raised, yet condemns them for their lyrical content.Today her show will however feature Rev Run of Run DMC fame who will partake in Oprah's show to discuss his reality TV show on MTV, Run's House.The brother of Hip-Hop icon Russell Simmons is set to talk about issues effecting his family and how these can be issues can easily be overcome through prayer and positive thoughts .
Warrant out for Compton rapper The Game
After missing a court date in Manhattan last week an arrest warrant has been issued for The Game. The rapper born Jayceon Taylor was arrested last year in New York after imitating a police officer in a NYC taxi and requesting that the driver jump numerous red lights. It was when the driver flagged down a Police Officer that the the rapper was arrested.The rapper pleaded not guilty to the charges against him and his lawyer Jeffrey Lichtman is insistent that the NYPD are just harassing the artist whose second album The Doctors Advocate was released in November of last year, "The cops follow him from the moment he lands to the moment he leaves....They are harassing him," his lawyer explained.

Left Eye Remembered
VH1 are to air a documentary about the singer/rapper Lisa 'Left Eye' Lopez of the trio TLC. The documentary will incorporate footage of Lisa's last month before she was tragically killed in a car accident in Honduras.
'Last Days of Left Eye' is said to show the singer discuss her beliefs in astrology and numerology and shows her at a month long spiritual retreat in Honduras where she did actually spend the majority of her time before her untimely death.

TLC shot to fame in the early 90's with songs like Creep and Waterfall and since the death of Left Eye, fellow band members Chilli and T Boz have since dissolved TLC after their album 3D went twice platinum. The trio sold over 30 million records worldwide.

50 Cent Denies all involvement
The recent altercation between G Unit's Tony Yayo and the 14 year old son of Jimmy Rosemond, manager for The Game, where reports had linked 50 Cent to the attack has been denied by the platinum selling rapper. In a statement to Hip-Hop website allhiphop.com the rapper born Curtis Jackson had this to say "As CEO of G-Unit Records, I take allegations swirling in the media regarding the alleged altercation against a teenage boy on Tuesday Mar. 20 in Manhattan very seriously, I have authorized an independent investigation of the incident to determine whether anyone associated with G-Unit Records was involved in the confrontation. I must state for the record, that I was at my home in Farmington, Connecticut the entire day completing songs for my new album."

There have been speculative accounts of Jimmy Rosemond demanding up to one million dollars from 50 Cent as a result of the incident.

Eminem in minor car crash
The Detroit rapper rear-ended a fellow driver in Detroit this weekend. No-one was hurt in the collision and Eminem exchanged information with the young lady that was driving the car which he hit with his black Mercedes.

Eminem has been caught amongst controversy with his ex wife over the last few weeks after a court ruled in favor to prevent the rapper and his ex wife Kim Mathers from talking negatively about each other to the media.

50 cent
